Visa Advice for Foreign Nationals

The Malta High Commission in London is pleased to announce that it has resumed its visa services in full as of 23rd June, 2021. Applicants may wish to apply for a visa to Malta at one of the VFS Global centers located in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. More information on how to book an appointment, the visa application form, and the supporting documents that have to be provided can be accessed by clicking on the following link: https://www.vfsglobal.com/malta/uk/.

All Visa applicants should present proof of full vaccination to VFS Global as part of their visa application.  Proof can be either in the form of a pdf downloaded from the NHS App or the official letter sent by NHS confirming double vaccination.  Applicants who fail to provide such documentation will not be allowed to submit their visa application.

Important Note:

In view that the UK is not a Schengen Member State and it is now longer in the EU, Malta did not apply to the derogation in article 6(2) of the EU Visa Regulation, which would exempt Refugees holding a Convention Document issued by the UK Authorities, from the requirement of a visa to enter Malta.  Therefore, anyone with this kind of document has to apply for a Visa before coming to Malta.
