Visa services have resumed on 3 August 2020


In view of the measures taken to address COVID-19 (Corona Virus), the Republic of Malta and its Consulates are suspending all visa services as of 18 March 2020, until further notice. Visas will be issued only in extreme cases on humanitarian grounds or in the case of national interest or for the needs of health authorities.​​

Welcome to the website of the Representative Office of the Republic of Malta in Palestine.

The Representative Office opened in Ramallah, Palestine in June 2009 and is the embodiment of the traditional ties of friendship between Malta and Palestine.

Apart from the enhancement of relations between Malta and Palestine in the political and economic spheres, the Office encourages support and cooperation between the Maltese and Palestinian people.

The aim of the office is also to monitor the constantly changing political situation and on developments regarding the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process. The Goal of the Peace Process is to achieve an independent, democratic and viable State of Palestine living side by side with the State of Israel. Bilateral diplomacy and active support within the European Union and relevant international organizations are means to accomplish this goal.
