A Virtual Send-off to Europe to Russian Erasmus Mundus Students

Moscow, 25 August 2020 ¾ The Embassy of Malta to the Russian Federation participated in a virtual union of Russian students recipients of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree scholarships of 2020 as they start to prepare to make their way to many European Union universities including the University of Malta.  Also present for this meeting were Erasmus alumni.  This was the first time that the event was held online due to the current pandemic.  The Embassy was represented by Mr. Karl Xuereb, who is the Consul at the Maltese Embassy.  In his intervention, the Consul congratulated the students and encouraged them to make the most out of their time in Europe by participating in cultural and social activities.

Russian students are among the top recipients of Erasmus+ scholarships worldwide.
