Covid-19 Health Measures to Travel to Malta

Update on travel to and from Malta – 13.08.2021

NOTICE: AS FROM 14th JULY 2021 AT 00:01hrs, ALL COUNTRIES/ZONES PREVIOUSLY LISTED AS AMBER WILL BE CLASSIFIED AS RED, THUS ONLY PERSONS IN POSSESSION OF A VALID RECOGNISED VACCINE CERTIFICATE WILL BE PERMITTED TO TRAVEL TO MALTA.

 
 
  • All passengers are required to submit  a completed Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at the online EU-dPLF platform which can be accessed via https://app.euplf.eu/#/.  They can then present the submitted PLF with the QR code at check in and on arrival in Malta in digital format or as a print-out. Paper copies of the passenger locator form will no longer be distributed and will not be accepted at check-in or on arrival in Malta.
 
 
 
 
Domestic Travel to Turkey
 
  • As from 6th September, intercity travel by plane, bus, train, or other public transportation will require proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken 48 hours prior to travel.  Travel using a private vehicle will not require proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test.
 
  • From 6th September, entry into establishments such as concerts, cinemas, theatres, and crowded events will require proof of vaccination, or a negative PCR test taken 48 hours before the event.
 
  • Individuals who have not received their vaccination through the Government of Turkey, and thus will not be able to confirm their vaccination status through the e-nabiz/HES system, may show a printed copy of their vaccination certificate along with identification.
