Malta participates in the November Remembrance Day Ceremony in Delhi, India

On Sunday 8 November 2020 morning , the High Commissioner of Malta in New Delhi, India, H.E. Reuben Gauci, participated in the Remembrance Day Ceremony which was held at the Delhi War Cemetery to commemorate those who died in the two World Wars and in subsequent conflicts. The ceremony was organized by the British High Commission in India, which is currently headed by the Acting High Commissioner, Ms Jan Thompson OBE. 

The ceremony included a short address by an Army Chaplin, along with prayers not linked to particular faiths. At the end of the ceremony, the Maltese High Commissioner laid a wreath of flowers in honour and remembrance of the fallen soldiers, in the name of the Government and People of the Republic of Malta.
